Ultima Hearing Centre and Kinatex Markham, in consultation with ENT physicians, have developed integrative programs to manage Tinnitus and Vertigo.

While common, Tinnitus and Vertigo often have multiple causes and require multifaceted treatment strategies that are rarely available to patients. Progressive Tinnitus Management (PTM), including counselling, sound therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) have shown to provide the most effective results. Recent studies indicate psychological interventions improve the outcome of treatment due to the patient’s self-efficacy(1). Similarly, other studies suggest that about 50% of persons who present to clinics for dizziness have psychological disorder, mainly anxiety(2,3).

Our evidence-based method incorporates the recent research and guidelines that our team of registered therapists have utilized in their specialised training and practice. Services are covered by insurance plans and senior discount is offered.
